Drama, not sci-fi submitted by pkominsky on May 20, 2019, 6:43pm The film focuses on a group in isolation, supposedly waiting to be picked up to go to a safe area while the world collapses. The Sun is "going dark" and that premise is the extent of the sci-fi. It reminded me of a somewhat worse version of Melancholia. As a set of character studies it's OK, in particular that of the overbearing father.

I want my 95 minutes back submitted by dogthenine on June 21, 2022, 1:16am First off it's a drama, not Sci-Fi. It's a story about a family with a horrible father, emotionally unstable mother and their somewhat messed up kids (because of the father). The father is so awful it really just makes the movie difficult to watch. I didn't find any redeeming qualities about the movie except for the acting. If I were to watch a family during the end of the world, it would not be this one!
