Christmas Pookie submitted by PharmRach on August 13, 2020, 5:10pm Not as good as the other books to be honest. I almost feel like Sandra Boynton just wrote it to add to the collection. But on the other hand, it would be a great way to help little kids get in the Christmas spirit, so I’m not complaining!

Cute Christmas submitted by Meginator on July 25, 2022, 11:32am This gentle board book shows Pookie and his mother celebrating Christmas Eve, complete with a musical interlude brought to the reader by a chorus of pigs. The rhythmic, rhyming text and gentle humor make this an excellent choice for reading aloud, especially as a bedtime book on Christmas Eve itself. Boynton’s books have a simplicity to them, but therein lies their charm, and this celebration of Christmas hits all the right notes.
