Full of hip hop and heart! submitted by jdev13 on June 15, 2019, 6:16am A really inspiring story about Bri and her journey to discovering herself, her community, and her rap journey. Really enjoyable read!
Full of heart! submitted by flemingj on June 15, 2019, 3:10pm I might like this better then The Hate U Give. Bri is great, but her mom really stole my heart. She is working so hard to raise great kids while keeping her own life together. Such a great role model of perseverance for her family.
Super good submitted by eyconrad on July 9, 2019, 7:30am This book is full of amazing characters!

This book is so awesome and very deep as a teen book. A recommended read if you have read The
Hate You Give, but you can read them in any order.
Great thought-provoking read submitted by JennJenn on July 31, 2020, 4:35pm This book does a great job of showing the pressures on Bri and revealing her character as she works her way through.
