An Expected History submitted by unknown on December 2, 2019, 1:19pm This book really opened my eyes to how men and women alike have accepted the narrative that women "don't fight." Wrong. Not only have they taken up arms, waged wars, and defended their homelands alike, they have done so since the beginning of recorded history even though that trail might have faded with time and with the attempts of those who have traditionally written early world history (typically, not women). A fascinating and important read for all people - to know that women have always played various and integral roles in military history, around the world.
