They're Altogether Ooky submitted by Meginator on June 11, 2021, 5:48pm These films are so strange, but their full commitment to the Addams Family’s general oddness, and absolutely perfect casting, makes them work really well. The first film revolves around a surprisingly touching story of belonging and the true meaning of family, all without becoming too saccharine or losing the story’s fundamentally dark sense of humor. The second film doesn’t ever recapture the magic of the original, but it makes the most out of a fish-out-of-water story for the elder Addams kids by sending them to a totally normal summer camp. These films are delightfully weird and and are perfect for viewers with a certain dry and dark sense of humor.
