First Man is more reminiscent of 2001: A Space Odyssey than anything else. Armstrong's story feels real. He is not portrayed as the perfect hero of the story, but instead a broken man who chooses to hide from the pain of his life by immersing himself in his work. The movie leaves you feeling frustrated at Armstrong and the sacrifices made in order to get a man on the moon.

Only its title is bad. "First man" is way too vague, and even after seeing the movie, seen the title again I did not know what the hell it was about. STUPID TITLE.
