Fun… maybe questionable? submitted by robinpollak on July 9, 2021, 11:48pm The rhyming and wordplay are fun to read and listen to. But I think this book may be perpetuating the idea that it’s ok to make fun of others for laughs. Of course it’s about a donkey, not a person, but still… we won’t be keeping this in the house.

If Your Young Readers Like Songs... submitted by ChallngOfTheStrs on August 29, 2021, 11:54pm As a fan of donkeys, I had to read this. It seemed like a very popular picture book. I tuned out once I realized it was a song that just built on the previous lyrics as it progressed. Even as a child, these kinds of stories really bored me. The donkey is pretty cute though.
