Clip show submitted by mowjac on March 22, 2019, 9:50pm The "exclusive interviews" are with theatre critics and the "rare footage" is from a talk show Lin Manuel did at a place called the Miracle Center. Otherwise, there is nothing new here for fans, just loaded with still photos but they clearly did not have permission to use any songs, Broadway footage or good material.

Hamilton infomercial submitted by TrD on June 16, 2019, 12:09am I requested this expecting an interesting and informative film on Hamilton, with at least a few of the songs. Instead this is one 75 minute, repetitious advertisement for .Miranda and the show. It starts ok but quickly turns into a waste of time. Unless you know nothing about Hamilton I'd pass. Very disappointing.

Not Too Deep submitted by Meginator on June 23, 2021, 5:44pm This documentary provides some background information about the hit musical Hamilton, focusing primarily on Lin-Manuel Miranda’s creative process and the show’s growth from a high-concept mixtape to a full-blown Broadway hit. The bulk of the content consists of interviews with theatre critics and experts, who provide some historical context, and archival footage of Miranda discussing the songwriting process. Though the documentary isn’t particularly deep, some of the interviews reveal interesting insights into the show that I’ll keep in the back of my mind the next time I watch it. Because those who are already converted will likely be familiar with most of this film’s content, this is probably best for those who are curious to learn more about the film either before or just after watching it for the first time.
