Based on true events from director David Kinsella's childhood growing up in Northern Ireland, in which the character David is told a story about Yung Hee, a young woman poet fleeing from the North Korea regime. By drawing parallels between his own childhood and the refugee's story, the film creates a "dream u menatary" showing how stories and myths build both identity and the idea of never trusting "the others".
