Thelma submitted by lstorc on July 31, 2019, 7:44pm Thelma has incredible pacing, plot, and acting! The twists and turns are foreshadowed or slowly introduced in such a manner that trepidation and suspense are seamlessly synthesized with the audience! This is a must see!

Hmmmm submitted by jibkidder on June 28, 2022, 10:45pm This one did very little for me, but I absolutely loved the cinematographers movie that just came out "The Innocents" - which seemed to me an entirely novel, stunning horror / sci-fi / drama. And I nearly as much enjoyed Trier's "Worst Person in the World". From what I read or listened to, it seemed Thelma was a real departure from their usual collaborations, and that Trier rejected the idea to try the Innocents when they were thinking through this movie. So while this didn't do much for me, I'm interested in digging back into their older work, and I will certainly be looking out for the next Eskil Vogt feature film, he seems the more daring of the pair.
