Classic Rock Reborn submitted by Meginator on August 17, 2020, 7:28pm I don’t know how they do it, but Greta Van Fleet are able to mimic a pure classic rock sound while keeping things fresh. From the hard-rocking riffs and vocal style to the lyrical content, everything about this band evokes the 1970s, though the drummer settles for more straightforward beats that can seem at odds with the Zeppelin-esque vibe everywhere else. These tracks feel epic and are perfectly concocted to deliver a good time. Plus, they hail from Frankenmuth, of all places! I loved this album; it’s a ton of fun if classic rock is a genre you enjoy.
