Unusual and charming submitted by FordAlpha on August 5, 2023, 10:11pm A stinkbug is certainly an unusual choice for a cute, anthropomorphic-animals picture book. Somehow, Andy Rash makes it work. Bud, a pleasantly perfumed stinkbug (flowers, pine trees, etc.), struggles to fit in with his noxious kith and kin. Happily, he finds a way to embrace and enjoy his unique ability. The stinkbug theme and deadpan humor are just enough to keep the message from being cloying.
