Disco Fever submitted by Meginator on August 12, 2020, 5:20pm This compilation of disco-era pop music hits all of the requisite elements that characterize disco, from funky chord progressions to open hi-hats striking on the upbeats and half-crooned vocal delivery. Though the songs blend together to the uninitiated ear, the overall vibe is positive and gets to the heart of what makes the genre so interesting. It’s impossible not to want to move when hearing this music, and though it’s definitely dated to a particular time and place, the mood it evokes is one that is worth returning to.
