A weaker entry in the series, and still quite good submitted by eknapp on August 24, 2020, 3:38pm Murderbot's investigation takes it to an abandoned Graycris terraforming platform on the edge of the galaxy. He meets an innocent, cheerful friendbot and gets drawn into yet another plot by an evil corporation to murder yet another group of innocent, amiable scientists because profit. We finally get to see a dreaded combat bot in action.

Rogue Protocol was harder to get into than the first two volumes in the series. It's a lot of dry exposition and set up that finally leads to a long, explosive climax. It was a bit of a slog but the payoff is worth it.
