Tasty Food, But It Still Takes a While submitted by Meginator on August 11, 2021, 4:36pm This cookbook includes some fairly standard Americanized Mexican fare along with more authentic dishes, making it a particularly useful resource for adventurous, open-minded cooks and diners. All of the recipes we tried were fantastic, and a couple have entered our regular dinner rotation. Schneider’s instructions are usually clear, but it does help to have some general kitchen experience before trying some of the more complicated recipes, as we did find that we occasionally had to improvise (especially when making sauces or fillings). Despite the fact that these recipes use a pressure cooker to save times, some still took upwards of an hour; be sure to read the directions carefully before starting.
