Modern Crochet Mandalas – submitted by sara on June 18, 2020, 11:30am Mandalas are a good way to use up scraps of yarn and to practice different stitches. But, then what do you do with them? Most of the mandalas in this book are lacy, so they cannot be used as pillows, bags, etc. unless they are lined. I did find several patterns in the book that I wanted to make: Vernal Season p.14, Picaresque Poppy p.32 Rose Window p. 40, Vintage Petals p. 92, and one solid design-Festival of Light p.64. Finished mandalas range from 8 to 12 inches.
