Colorful Crochet Lace - submitted by sara on June 18, 2020, 3:56pm Lacy, but not Lace-weight. Crochet is already denser and stiffer than knitting for garments, so I was hoping this book would have lightweight, lacy patterns that are more comfortable to wear. Unfortunately, most of the patterns in the book are made with worsted weight yarn. They are holy, but not lacy. Also, most require under-layers as they are see-through, which adds to the stiffness of crochet garments.
