Animal Heads – submitted by sara on June 18, 2020, 11:37am The animal heads are amazing… what bothers me is the “trophy” part. I wish the entire animal was available because it still makes me sad to see crocheted heads on a wall. The zebra is striking. And the little mouse heads can be hung down low in the kitchen to warn any errant mice.

Cute designs and mostly clear instructions submitted by gwyneth on June 12, 2023, 1:09pm I made the mouse trophy head from this book. I found the instructions were usually clear, although I had to look up a video for how to do the short rows, and I wish that section of the pattern had been explained better. However, the design was thoughtful and the finished object looked exactly like the picture. I recommend this book for intermediate crocheters or advanced beginners (like me) who are willing to go look up tutorials for more advanced techniques when needed.
