Oceans submitted by avrogers1 on June 19, 2019, 1:40pm This was a really good movie! It followed a similar plot, but the cast wasn't not the same as the past oceans movies. The cast was amazing. I would totally watch it again.

With its all-star cast of capable women, “Ocean’s 8” proves that female-led, feminist films can be just as action-oriented, just as funny, just as well-produced, and just as good as (if not better than) those centering male points of view. All of the requisite elements come together seamlessly: the perfectly balanced team, the unexpected snags, the intricate plan, and the getaway (here expanded, providing further insight into the group’s genius). I love this type of film and it is so refreshing to see a slightly different take on the genre, particularly when it is done with such skill and such a gleeful spirit.

Ocean’s 8 submitted by LilPie on July 17, 2022, 8:22pm I found Ocean’s 8 to be like most heist movies, but with a difference of a all female cast that make the plans and complete the heist. Which sets it apart from other similar movies, and gives it a sense of female empowerment that’s often missed in this type of movie genre.
