An Ambitious that Mostly Succeeded submitted by timdufresne on July 17, 2018, 3:14pm Pulling off this movie was a feat to itself. What with the hype, pressure and money at stake. The fact that this movie is pretty good for juggling so many characters and stories is impressive. Still I'd rather spend more time with Thor: Ragnarok or Black Panther if given the choice.

Great action submitted by Duckling on August 4, 2018, 10:00am I think that this is a great movie to watch, especially if you love Marvel movies. The stories all jumble up together in Infinity war and it is exciting because you get to see all of your favorites fight for one cause(to save half of the universe). If you have not watch any Marvel movies I think this movie is still good but you might not understand everything going on. To make a short list of movies to watch before this movie would be all the "Avengers" titled movies, and Iron-mans movies and maybe Captain America's movies (because those make the Avenger movies make more sense) If you wanted a longer list, watch all the movies from the Marvel franchise, They are all exceptional.

Pulls off the Impossible submitted by Meginator on August 31, 2019, 11:11pm This film sets itself an almost impossible task and meets the challenge head-on, somehow managing to integrate nearly a decade’s worth of blockbuster films and A-list stars into a coherent, emotionally effective narrative arc with plenty of the action, drama, and humor that has characterized the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Though the ending, as shocking as it is, lacks a bit of punch when considered outside of the context of the film, it is plenty effective in the moment, leaving both its characters and viewers reeling for its sheer audacity. Despite some uneven pacing that can leave large gaps in individual characters’ stories (probably inevitable in a film with this many disparate storylines), the film moves along fairly well and hits the appropriate narrative beats while staying true to each of the meticulously crafted characters. For all of the anticipation surrounding it, Avengers: Infinity War absolutely does live up to the hype and easily ranks among the studio’s best efforts, sacrificing neither art nor mass appeal in its huge ambitions. All of the effort certainly paid off.
