Different than what's advertised submitted by dntanzer on August 21, 2018, 11:46am The blurb for the book makes it seem like a thriller, but it's much more of a slow character and faith study. It follows Will, who has lost his faith, and Phoebe who has lost her family, and how they become entangled with a cult. I thought the writing was good, though it's style is unconventional and not something I think everyone will enjoy. I would also like to warn readers that there are some very serious, disturbing scenes described in this book. Overall, I found it a quick and interesting read, though I was uncomfortable with some of the disturbing scenes previously mentioned.
