"Vice President Joe Biden is fresh out of the Obama White House and feeling adrift when his favorite railroad conductor dies in a suspicious accident, leaving behind an ailing wife and a trail of clues. To unravel the mystery, "Amtrak Joe" re-teams with the only man he's ever fully trusted--the 44th president of the United States. Together they'll plumb the darkest corners of Delaware, traveling from cheap motels to biker bars and beyond, as they uncover the sinister forces advancing America's opioid epidemic. Part noir thriller and part bromance novel, Hope Never Dies is essentially the first published work of Obama/Biden fanfiction--and a cathartic read for anyone distressed by the current state of affairs."--Amazon.com.

Ridiculously entertaining submitted by rachelmcglash on June 26, 2021, 7:37pm Everything about this should be absurd, and it is. But it is wonderfully so. Just enjoy it for being campy. And laugh.

Fun but predictable submitted by onpaper24 on June 26, 2022, 8:04am Parts were fun for sure

Fun, quick read submitted by 21621031390949 on July 3, 2023, 2:27pm I thoroughly enjoyed this lighthearted romp starring my favorite ex-Prez and our current President. I've followed Joe Biden since his first run for office in 1972, and the Uncle Joe persona the author writes is pretty accurate. I grew up in Wilmington so the local references and parodied references were fun, too. It's a screwball comedy/mystery, and a better than average summer read.
