So-So submitted by dntanzer on August 31, 2018, 3:02pm This cookbook had a small selection of recipes that I highlighted. I was pretty bored with the other options and also frustrated with the amount of soy or gluten-based dishes. Also, some of the writing, while trying to be inclusive, came off as elitist - ie because they're vegan they're better/kinder/smarter than those who aren't. I don't think it was intentional, but that was the feeling I got from a few parts of the book.
Veginner’s Cookbook- submitted by sara on June 18, 2020, 12:06pm Vegan food is so much more labor-intensive than vegetarian, I wasn’t tempted to try many of the recipes. But there were a few that were easy: tomato coconut chickpea curry, baked falafel, pizza pinwheels, and flatbread.
