Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, D'Arcy Carden, Manny Jacinto, Ted Danson.
The show follows Eleanor Shellstrop, an ordinary woman who enters the afterlife and, thanks to some kind of error, is sent to the Good Place instead of the Bad Place, which is definitely where she belongs. Several Good Turns submitted by Meginator on July 6, 2018, 11:10pm I must admit that, as much as I loved the Good Place's first season, I was a bit worried after the whopping revelation/plot twist at the very end. I needn't have been: the show takes its new premise and runs with it in unexpected and delightful ways. The show retains its quirky, sarcastic sense of humor and, more importantly, its emotional depth as the core characters grow individually and as a unit. Few shows strike an effective balance between irreverence and earnestness, but the Good Place excels in every way, getting even better with time.

Hilarious Deep Series submitted by timdufresne on July 6, 2018, 11:14pm What a great series. Everyone here brings their A-Game and creates a great, thoughtful, touching series.

Highly Recommended! submitted by GJBarnett2 on August 9, 2018, 12:09pm A genuinely remarkable series! Both thought-provoking and highly entertaining. Looking forward to season 3.

so good submitted by Adam Graham on August 31, 2018, 11:55pm This show is brilliantly written - recommend

The Good Place. Season two submitted by lstorc on July 6, 2019, 8:48pm The second season continues where the first one left off and remains powerful, witty, and dynamic!

Powerful submitted by Aimless on July 24, 2019, 4:36pm As worried as I was about if the second season could live up to the first, I was delightfully surprised at how wonderful the second season was

Perfectly executed submitted by redwood on August 4, 2019, 7:46pm Somehow even better than the incredible first season. Manages to follow up meaningfully on a huge twist.

A great second season submitted by dntanzer on August 21, 2019, 9:51pm The good place continues to be one of the funniest shows on tv. Definitely start with season one if you haven't seen it yet.

Excellent series submitted by Zekicmom on August 15, 2020, 9:22pm Incredibly entertaining and thought provoking. Must be watched in order beginning with season one, episode one.

The dumbest intellectual show or the most intelligent dumb show submitted by kaymbre on August 2, 2023, 6:29am The second season of The Good Place is like a witty and whimsical rollercoaster ride through moral philosophy land! It's as if Immanuel Kant himself hopped on a magical train with Eleanor and the gang, discussing the categorical imperative while munching on frozen yogurt. The show's blend of existential crises and perfectly timed jokes is so delightful that even Socrates would raise an eyebrow and give it a thumbs up. With each episode, I felt like I was unlocking a new level of enlightenment while laughing my way to nirvana. The way they turn classic philosophical thought experiments into quirky real-life scenarios is nothing short of comedic genius! And don't even get me started on Janet - the all-knowing, all-hilarious AI that makes Siri look like a shy wallflower. The Good Place Season 2 is a comedic masterpiece that tickles your funny bone while making you ponder the very fabric of reality. It's a divine fusion of intellect and humor that's sure to make even Plato crack a smile in the afterlife!
