Dancing comedy
submitted by leea on August 4, 2018, 12:34am
This movie aimed for older audience with sassy high-spirited British comedy. One would entertain with everyday story about British middle class life, their family and friendship.
a sweet second chance submitted by yufamily on August 15, 2018, 3:39pm Nice film
to be old and good is tough, close call submitted by mbruno on April 19, 2019, 6:56pm Very sweet story that struck me as a bit sour, (script only). The character triumph was really good, but the moral compromises condoned were not. It is indeed rare to see any film as funny and real as this not attribute the victory of being true to yourself to the rules that empower that freedom, and this film was not rare. Potential was there. Message was muddled. Heart-felt and made me laugh. Pleasing cinematography. Dancing in any movie is also a plus in my mind, (and it was good enough to carry it but didn't need to because, in this case,) there were great performances all around.
