You Gnome It submitted by Meginator on July 18, 2018, 10:45pm This sequel to Gnomeo & Juliet similarly takes inspiration from literature; this time, it's the character of Sherlock Holmes. Fans will recognize some nods to Doyle's stories, but these aren't enough to carry a weak plot and lazy jokes, to say nothing of the villain's inconsistent design (he exhibits characteristics of both plaster and rubber; it's baffling). The plot serves well enough and the clues and twist are genuinely clever, but Gnomeo and Juliet are again under-developed and the whole film lacks a sense of effort. It's fine, but not particularly memorable.

Sherlock Gnomes submitted by SBNB on June 17, 2019, 7:49pm I watched the first couple minutes and then ignored the rest of the movie while my daughter watched. I thought it was stupid. She seemed to like it. She watched it at least.
