Country Concept Album submitted by Meginator on June 22, 2020, 12:22pm With its lyrical focus on the American West (particularly Colorado, where a place is specified) and hints of bluegrass against a background of strong, modern country music, this almost feels like a concept album, and the whole project fits together and flows very nicely. Dierks Bentley clearly set out to capture a particular vibe here and, to my mind, he has accomplished it.
