Very serious submitted by avrogers1 on June 19, 2019, 1:18pm When I rented this I didn't have any idea what it was about. Its by Tyler Perry and I was very familiar with his comedy films. This was not at all like those! This was the first time I had seen none of his more serious dramas. It was full of feels and dealt with some very serious content. That being said, it was really well done. The cast was great and the acting was top notch. Overall, it was good

Excellent lead actress!

The Plot did not go as I assumed. I was sure that the husband's so-called breakthru research was a bunch of crap, and the movie is weak here, not convincing that he has got something there. Even more surprising was his generosity when he got it made, he did not have to give his ex $12million worth of cash and homes and cars! But she was mad, so none of that mattered.

Perry said he got the idea from real people he knew who behaved like that. I would bet that in real life, they made it in other fields, not in scientific research, AND when they did, they were not at all generous to those they helped them make it.
