funny, if a little bit macabre submitted by laurenalysse on August 13, 2018, 3:27pm Really enjoyed this "mockumentary." The characters are endearing and there are many laugh out loud funny parts. It is about a murder trial, so its of course macabre, but not so much so that it weighs the show down.

Trial & Error. The Complete First Season submitted by lstorc on July 29, 2019, 12:08am Trial & Error. The Complete First Season is similar in humor and pacing to The Office as well as Parks and Recreation. It's definitely irreverent though.

Absolutely worth your time submitted by fernzo on March 31, 2022, 3:06pm This show is FUN. Every last person acting in it pulls their weight. Joyous! It's set in a small southern town proud of its roots, but with a little bit of a (possible) murder problem in Larry Henderson (John Lithgow), a man on trial for (possibly) killing his wife. It's clever and sweet (yep, sweet), while perceptively poking fun at true crime television, modern media, and human nature. As another patron wrote, it does bear some resemblance to The Office and Parks and Rec, in particular.

It's a real treat. Watch it. You'll be glad you did.
