COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Southern literature that kept me up all night reading to see what would happen submitted by legalmama on August 9, 2019, 8:59am This fast-paced book reminded me of Bel Canto in that you know what is going to happen in the end -- or think you do -- you're just not sure when/how. The book is set in both Appalachia and in Key West, and the geography and culture of those places infuse the characters in an authentic way. I would almost describe this as a love letter to Appalachia written by a reluctant expatriate. This is a fast read, written by someone who cares about the characters. Definitely recommend!
