Read this submitted by ktscott on July 18, 2021, 6:26pm No lie, I cried when I read this book. I had to put it down and pick it up. Maybe it was the subject material or timing of my read, but it was so moving. The family dynamics alone were enough to make you stop while reading. It was also so relatable. When I keep track of my books on Goodreads, I almost never give the book a rating. (I've done it here all over the place because I want the summer game points!) However, when I finished this book, I immediately gave it five stars. A wonderful read.
This book changed me submitted by Bethybeth07 on July 24, 2022, 10:06pm I libed this novel. Half was written by the perspective of the children and the other half of the father. It makes you really consider your own family (parents or childen) and think whether your truth would match theirs.
Breathtaking submitted by emaelshaikh on August 18, 2022, 4:36pm I cried, and this book sat with me for WEEKS. As a practicing Muslim, I was deeply touched. We all struggle for love, acceptance, and salvation.
