Read by Robin Miles.
Binti has returned to her home planet, believing that the violence of the Meduse has been left behind. Unfortunately, although her people are peaceful on the whole, the same cannot be said for the Khoush, who fan the flames of their ancient rivalry with the Meduse.

Fantastic submitted by lstorc on August 5, 2018, 10:20pm Fantastic in a weird, super surreal way.
Pretty good submitted by zmclaugh on July 24, 2019, 12:28pm Feels a bit different from the others in the series, though still exploring some of the more imaginative elements we've come to expect.

Like "Home" before it, "The Night Masquerade" has a different setting and different focus than the other two books of the trilogy. Many of the questions raised from the first two books were answered, but some thing were left unresolved, or somewhat resolved but in an unexpected way. Overall, it left me feeling a bit off-kilter, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I would definitely recommend it to young and adult readers of speculative fic alike.
As always, Robin Miles's narration is fantastic.
