COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Excelente Musica submitted by Meginator on August 6, 2018, 5:54pm Coco is an incredible film, and with its reliance on music for so many plot points and thematic issues, it's no surprise that the soundtrack is likewise excellent. The songs are brief but catchy, and the re-casting of "Remember Me" in several modes is emotionally effective when considered in conjunction with the relevant narrative movement. Anthony Gonzalez is completely convincing as Miguel, and his songs crackle with Miguel's energy and passion. Michael Giacchino's score relies heavily on acoustic guitar and horns to convey a distinctly Mexican tone, and these elements play nicely against many tracks' traditional orchestral instrumentation. This soundtrack sounds distinctly like the film and forms an integral part of its storytelling, making it well worth a listen.

Coco Soundtrack submitted by SBNB on June 30, 2020, 3:21pm This is a great soundtrack! Music is a central part of the movie, and so of course there are a ton of great songs. Proud Corazon is my favorite!
