Goat gluttony submitted by FordAlpha on August 14, 2018, 9:25pm If I were a goat (or a great friend of goats), I might be offended by this stereotypical tale of a goat's voracious appetite. As it is, however, both I and my kids enjoyed this picture book, whose illustrations really sell the story of a goat whose boredom leads her to consume increasingly indigestible items. She ends up sick for a week (this is the most humorous part of the story, with the goat changing colors as her indigestion progresses), but ultimately, little harm is done. The text is very well paced.
