An Essential Reference submitted by Meginator on July 20, 2019, 11:02am As someone thoroughly intimidated by the unimaginably complex process of purchasing real estate, I found this book's organizational scheme and conversational tone to be enormously helpful throughout the process. The author clearly knows a lot about the subject and breaks its numerous moving components into easily digestible chunks without a whiff of condescension; the factual information and opinions are often illustrated with personal stories that put the explanations into easily comprehensible real-world context. I highly recommend skimming the first chapters and entire table of contents before embarking on your homeowning adventure and keeping this book close at hand all the way through to closing.
