Colin the Chameleon tells the story of a chameleon who, unlike his siblings, cannot change color and the dangers this poses. Eventually, Colin finds that it his very difference that makes himself special and helps keep his family safe from a greater threat.

Not well written, but okay story submitted by rea2mill on July 16, 2019, 12:05pm When I read this to my toddler I add a lot of details to help him understand what’s happening and to better utilize the story to talk about the dangers of crossing the street. But as is I wouldn’t say it a very well written book. Right now my toddler has a chameleon obsession so we’re reading it every day, and it’s not one the adults will enjoy doing that with.
