The Post submitted by SBNB on July 29, 2018, 1:37pm I watched this movie on a plane having no idea about its content besides the tiny description given. Based on that description and the cover photo, I expected The Washington Post to be the one to discover the government deception instead of just deciding whether to publish what the New York Times had already. So I was a bit disappointed. That said, it was a good, enjoyable movie with interesting, historical subject matter.
Pretty good submitted by Suzanne Muenz on August 3, 2018, 1:14am Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep. That's enough

the Pentagon Papers submitted by bec on July 11, 2019, 9:54am This movie is about the publication of the Pentagon Papers from the perspectives of Katherine Graham (Streep), the first female publisher of a major American newspaper, and Ben Bradlee (Hanks), the Washington Post's then-executive editor. It's smart, has an outstanding cast and some real thriller elements, and it explores the role of the press in American society. I found myself wishing for a longer format than a movie, because I'd have happily kept watching.
The Post submitted by Varshini on July 30, 2019, 3:01am Great movie about journalism and The Pentagon Papers. I learned a bit about that time of American history.
