Disturbing & Necessary submitted by Beth Manuel on June 19, 2018, 4:26pm The carnage of Aleppo is shared with brutal honesty. This documentary about the "White Helmets" in Syria who position themselves to be available after air strikes to pull people out of the rubble is both sad and compelling. There are some bloody scenes, but mostly the footage of what once was a jewel of the Middle East is shockingly raw and unimaginable. This is a film all Americans should watch and learn from. The devotion on the part of these few men to saving lives and properly burying the dead is remarkable.

Important to watch submitted by rbseemail on July 5, 2018, 8:22am This documentary is important to watch. While we are enjoying an easy life with plenty of food and and freedom, other parts of the world live in misery. The everyday inescapable violence in Aleppo is truly shocking and depressing, but the spirit of the "White Helmets" is inspiring.
