Toddler appropriate book about new baby submitted by rea2mill on July 9, 2019, 8:53am We encountered this book as part of AADL’s New Baby tool kit. It’s one of the books in the kit most appropriate for toddlers. It helps explain the new big changes about to happen to a toddler who is going to be a big sibling in a way they can understand and engage with. It addresses a few concerns that the child might have about changes like “do I have to share my favorite blanket? Will you have enough love for us both?” While also helping the child understand that the changes happening with mama are normal. I highly recommend it for parents looking for a resource to talk to their child about a new sibling. Also the illustrations are beautiful and colorful and kept our child interested.
