Girl scientist power? Sort of submitted by FordAlpha on August 13, 2018, 8:54pm This is a humorous, rhyming story whose protagonist is a little girl obsessed with her lab work. Sounds great, but the story does reinforce the stereotype of science-nerd-as-loner. Mary does acquire a posse of friends/lab assistants, but only after a near-disaster when her sheep-cloning machine produces too many sheep. Anyway, it's a fun book, as long as you're not looking for an inspiring message for your little aspiring scientist.
