COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Tommy has issues submitted by kencza on June 19, 2018, 8:02pm An element of friendship, a lot of hutzpah, throw in a dash of abandonment, and just enough
fantasy. This is how you make a movie? An unlimited budget, no actors, and lots of misfits.
An incredulous crew, a twist of fate, and a hilarious opening night. Don't give up on it early!

True story submitted by heapah on July 14, 2018, 10:16pm The movie is based on a true story of the making of the movie "The Room." I was expecting more, but it was okay.

The Disaster Artist submitted by libbyk on August 14, 2018, 3:47pm Good entertainment for all. Laughing all the way.

Interesting submitted by lstorc on August 28, 2018, 10:47pm James Franco performed fabulously. The overall content was disgraceful. It was definitely something different.

Wow submitted by Pooh3238 on June 18, 2019, 9:38pm James Franco did an amazing job of pretending to be Tommy Wiseau. If you thought this movie was strange, make sure to watch what it was based on (The Room). He got the mannerisms spot on.

A good introduction to "The Room" submitted by Kitty4777 on August 4, 2022, 12:05am Sometimes cult classics don't "make sense", and "The Room" is 100% in this category. It's past a weird B movie, The Room is an experience - a confusing experience. I think that this movie is extremely true to character and helps give context to the insanity of how this film got made.

A great introduction for anyone who wants to see The Room when Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero come back to Royal Oak in the future for a late night screening!
