Strong Characters, Interesting Story submitted by Maria Maguire on July 20, 2018, 5:07pm I didn't expect to like this movie, as I don't usually go for more artsy, drama, Oscar nominated films... but I really enjoyed it! I was drawn in by the strong characters, especially Frances McDormand as Mildred, the mother.

There was also a good amount of action, and every time I thought I knew what was going to happen, something else crazy happened. There were also some awesome shots in the film, and the visual of the three billboards themselves is super memorable. Some moments felt a little awkward, but all around an interesting movie I enjoyed watching!

Wow submitted by Zekicmom on August 8, 2018, 9:38pm Not an easy movie to watch, but very worthwhile. It's incredibly well acted and surprisingly unpredictable. Thank goodness for a few unexpected moments of humor to break some of the tension. I don't want to spoil the ending, but I will say I will be thinking about it for a long time. Be ready to get emotionally involved.

!! Must Watch !! submitted by Susie on August 13, 2018, 4:37pm A fantastic movie! Great script! Great actors! Great acting! Character development! Drama! Action! Humor! Suspense! Current to whats happening in the world- might not be for you if you get triggered by reality's horror. Very Emotional for the characters and for the viewer- probably not something to watch before bed. Mind blowing! Captivating! Every moment of the movie is great and does not have that boring filler or slow like most movies. Riveting! It will get you riled up! There is some romance so you could say this movie has a little bit of everything. Haha. Its honestly the best movie of 2018 and you're gonna want more movies that are well written and directed like this one.

At first I thought it might deserve a downgrading for such a two-D character in the bad cop. submitted by lisa on August 21, 2018, 10:44pm But by the end it has not only given him dimensions but it shows a remarkable thing, and makes it believable.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri submitted by SBNB on June 15, 2019, 1:01pm It's a great movie with a pretty good ending. The only real negative was their use of the word “midget” so often. They could have at least mentioned that it’s very offensive.

I see why it got awards. submitted by tbbrown76 on August 16, 2019, 1:19pm Woody Harrelson is a complicated character as is the Dixon character. The mom is really well played. I wish the ending gave us more closure, but it made it more real, I think.
