This mid point in Ostlund’s trilogy of self-deluded people and their “funny” ways is hilarious. Having satirized the myth of masculinity, this installment (pun intended) skewers an art market which takes itself far too seriously in a world where homeless people seem taken for performance artists.
The film functions nicely as a lead-in to his third film in which the arrogance of extreme wealth gets its comeuppance.
