Good for Science-Minded Adult Readers submitted by Meginator on August 20, 2022, 5:50pm This is one of the more comprehensible books in its series, which still means that some of the concepts went over my head, alas. Chris Ferrie takes (surprisingly complex) ideas from different disciplines within physics and distills them into very simple illustrations and explanations that help illuminate some of the weirder and cooler corners of modern scientific understanding. The results are a bit uneven, with certain concepts just not lending themselves easily to this abbreviated format, but the book is entertaining and the high-contrast illustrations should captivate the youngest readers even if they aren’t taking in much of the actual educational material.
