Cute Contemporary Romance submitted by sdunav on July 6, 2018, 9:59am This is fun escapist literature of the kind many of us crave in 2018. It's just a great story of a couple that meets unexpectedly and find they like their life together better than their already vibrant separate lives. The interracial aspect is handled well, and it's nice to see a romance with a strong, smart, realistically portrayed woman. I will definitely read more by Guillory!

Meh submitted by valerieclaires on June 17, 2019, 11:36am I don't know about this one. I love love loved Guillory's other book, The Proposal, but for some reason I just couldn't get into this one. The elevator scene in the beginning drew me in, but I just couldn't keep going. Maybe I just liked the other book so much that this one didn't compare?

I love Guillory’s powerful female leads and lovely love stories. This was the first of her books that I read, and I’m now a fan!
