Ms. Ice Sandwich submitted by hrgray on August 4, 2023, 10:08pm At only about 90 pages, this novella is quick enough to read in one day, but after finishing it I feel like it had a lot to say. The protagonist is a child fascinated by the titular Ms. Ice Sandwich, a cold and distant employee at the supermarket near his house. This fascination serves as the backdrop for his struggles in fully expressing one's self to others and with saying goodbye to things that are ending. I really enjoyed this sweet story, and would recommend it.
