Gripping Mystery submitted by sdunav on June 25, 2018, 3:28pm Second mystery novel (after "The Dry") about financial investigator/cop Aaron Falk follows the search for a missing hiker/informant who was on a corporate retreat with four other women from her company. Great characters, setting, use of flashbacks - I will look for anything new Jane Harper writes!

sequel to THE DRY submitted by bec on August 7, 2018, 9:42am Murder on a corporate backcountry retreat exposes corruption and tensions between coworkers. Aaron Falk is a pretty bland protagonist and the plot with his new partner goes in just about the most predictable direction. Even so, the mystery was interesting- and like the first book in this series, the setting was really stand-out.
