In a world ten years following the collapse of society, the rule of the law has disintegrated and life is cheap. Hardened loner Eric travels the desolate towns and roads of the outback. Captivating bleak thriller submitted by jibkidder on June 26, 2022, 9:47pm Michod went on to direct very different films from this one, which sort of reminds me of Matteo Garrone who, after gorgeously capturing Italian mob characters in Gomorrah went on to make a sort of comedy fantasy movie "Tale of Tales, but this bleak Australian thriller captures a vibe for sure.
