Washed up on the mysterious shores of Atlantis, Jason searches for his missing father and stumbles into deadly rituals that test his quick reactions and physical strength. Perilous trials, from leaping over charging bulls and fighting the dreaded Minotaur, to surviving the rites of Dionysus and the temptations of a snake-headed goddess, ensue. No matter how great the danger, Jason can count on his two new friends, studious Pythagoras and portly Hercules, to lighten the battle with a laugh.
DVD ; anamorphic widescreen (16:9) presentation ; Dolby digital stereo.

a little confused submitted by Drake Emmitt on August 7, 2016, 9:08am We started watching this and it was a bit hard to follow along with. We open with a guy (Jason) searching for a wrecked sub which was his fathers (I think). Then he goes into the white light (which everyone tells you NOT to do!!). Then he is on a beach face down in water (somehow he was breathing?). He sees people row away and they do not speak to him (maybe they are not fond of conversation?) He then somehow trips over EVERYTHING (I thought only my daughter was capable of things like that) which lands him in more trouble. He sees an oracle (whom I believe to be his mother but I do not know for sure). I stopped watching shortly after, I couldn't get into it.

Fun if a bit dated submitted by katarina on July 27, 2023, 2:34am Adventure BBC show, fans of greek mythology and fantasy might really enjoy this series.

The hero is often confused, but good with two funny side kicks. Special effects aren’t fancy but it is BBC, and target audience probably middle school/high school age.
