COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Modern Day Country Music submitted by crankycrack on June 18, 2015, 6:17pm A great album with my personal favorite Low Down. The hidden song is a gem as well.

Humor Down at the Honky Tonk submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 9:14am This album combines an outlaw country sensibility with honky tonk musical roots and a robust sense of humor in a way that is definitely unique, if nothing else; this is country music with a punk rock sensibility in its creation and its lyrical content, if not in its actual musical roots. The lyrics I did catch were often very funny, though occasionally off-color, skewering a range of country music’s favorite topics with an abundance of references to drugs and booze and a distinct aversion to pop country. “Louisiana Stripes”, an homage to Johnny Cash, stands apart, being completely different in style and tone from the rest of the album.
